We were fortunate to have Wanda Longaberger surprise us with a visit to the Inn at Dresden. Wanda, who has been collecting scrapbooks for more years than she cares to remember brought along scrapbook #10 and a pile of photographs. 

The scrapbooks contained several newspaper stories about Dave Longaberger’s home that is now the Inn. The photographs were of Dave and the Longaberger family at home and in other locales. Pictures of the family, a wedding and other scenes were wonderful to see.

Joy and I plan to make copies of all before returning the originals to Wanda.  We were happy to be able to host Wanda at the Inn. We have been fortunate to have other family members here and we will continue our efforts to have the Inn remain a living memory of Dave in this community.
