Spring is a funny season. It sneaks up on you. It surprises you. One day the branch is bare, the next day it looks like there is a bud. Then, without warning, tiny, brightly colored leaves sparkling in the morning sun are covering the branches.
If you look down there are green sprouts, weeds, bright smiling daffodils, tulips of unbelievable color and shape and could it be that it is time to mow the lawn, but it is only April.
Living at The Inn at Dresden in rural Ohio has made me and Joy much more aware and sensitive to the earth rhythms, to the onset of heat and cold and rain and snow. However, the most joyful and wonderful creation is where we are now, spring, a time for rebirth and new beginnings.
I have included a few photographs. I hope you enjoy some of the signs of spring at The Inn at Dresden.
