It is SPRING!
It’s not around the corner, it is here… at The Inn at Dresden. The daffodils and hyacinth around the Inn are up. Our trees are beginning to burst with color. Although the full beauty of trees exploding with blossoms and leaves is still a little way off, there is no doubt that winter is history. Put those winter clothes away and get out to begin pulling weeds and mulching. How do you city folk do Spring. Although I am from New York and Washington D.C., my two years at the Inn at Dresden have completed wiped those memories. (I seem to have lost some other memories along the way too.) It happens fast.
Our guests say you can feel the calming as you enter the doors of the Inn. Last Saturday a crew of volunteers from the Friends of Dresden Parks cleaned the winter debris and spread mulch in the parks and along Main Street of downtown Dresden. Despite the cold and some snow, the work got done. Dresden Village looks fresh and inviting for the upcoming Legacy Day.
If you are lucky, you will be here.
See ya!
