Joy and Allen Rothenberg, owners of The Inn at Dresden Welcome you.
After living many years in Bethesda, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC, coming to Dresden was a bit of a culture shock, but the peace and quiet and breathtaking view has become a wonderful way of life. Joy grew up in Manila, The Philippines, coming to the United States in 1995. Allen grew up in New York City where he went to school from kindergarten through graduate school.
The Inn at Dresden sits atop one of the highest hills in Muskingum County and is the former home of Dave Longaberger. The million dollar view from the top is unforgettable. The large Tudor style building is now a ten-bedroom luxury inn.
The Inn at Dresden features comfort at its’ finest. Many of the rooms at the inn have Jacuzzi tubs for soaking your cares away. The sprawling outdoor pavilion offers private space for relaxing or hosting a wedding, party, family reunion or business meeting. Private decks off the rooms allow the pampered guest to take in the views, breath the fresh air and enjoy the solitude.
Nestled on the hilltop overlooking the quaint Village of Dresden, The Inn at Dresden is rich with history. The 9,000 square foot Inn is the former home of Dave Longaberger, founder of The Longaberger Company which is known for its handmade baskets. The unique charm of the home as well as the 10 themed guest rooms is a direct reflection of the exquisite taste and craftsmanship of the former owner and the Village of Dresden.
